Interfaith Story Network is a group of people who believe in the spiritual, moral, and healing power of story. Our goal is to welcome and engage people of all cultural, ethical, spiritual/faith traditions in order to:

Rejoice in our diversity

Break down the stereotypes that divide us

Recognize what we have in common

Work together for peace and understanding

 Currently we have:

* A directory of our members who have provided us with a short bio and their story work.

* Member brainstorming/sharing sessions on the second Wednesday of every other month from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Eastern. Upcoming sessions are on August 13th and October 8th on Zoom.

* Online Sacred Story Sunday Interfaith Story Circles (hosted by ASST.art ) on the third Sunday of every other month from 4-5:30 p.m. Eastern.  Each circle has a theme, a guest storyteller and time for open story sharing by those who attend. Upcoming circles will be held on September 21st and November 16th.

If our mission is one you would like to learn more about, support, or engage in, please contact Gert Johnson ([email protected] 518-374-0637) and you will be warmly welcomed.  We are always looking for new individuals and organizations with whom we can share.

The Interfaith Story Network was created by a partnership of The Interfaith Story Circle of Albany/Schenectady/Troy, NY, The Dutchess County (NY) Interfaith Council’s Story Circle, and ASST (Artists Standing Strong Together).
