Interfaith Story Circles of Tempe, Arizona
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The purpose of the Interfaith Story Circles is to connect diverse people of faith through sharing the stories of our lives.
PROPOSAL:

Establish monthly Interfaith Story Circles on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
- Each month a theme will be published for all interested storytellers.
- Invite anyone who would like to offer a narrative from their life experience or faith tradition to share a short story on the selected theme.
INITIAL FOUR MONTHS: dates, themes and tentative locations
- Tuesday, November 23, 2004, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Community Christian Chruch, Tempe. Theme: "Stories of Gratitude: Blessings Given and Received."
- Tuesday, December 28, 2004, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Islamic community Center. Theme: "Stories of Light and Enlightenment."
- Tuesday, January 25, 2005, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Arizona InterFaith Movment Office. Theme: "Stories of Janus and New Beginnings." (Looking back over the last year, how has God been involved in your life?)
- Tuesday, February 22, 2005, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Changing Hands Bookstore, Tempe. Theme: "Stories of Love."
